The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta still features the most powerful base engine in the segment in terms of torque. In terms of fuel consumption, the Jetta shines just as well with its average of 5.9 L/100 km.
Based on Volkswagen's superb transverse modular platform (MQB), the 2022 Jetta has a longer wheelbase, is wider and has a shorter front overhang, which gives it a more elegant, but athletic look. The MQB platform also allows the Jetta to offer even more interior space. Indeed, the 2022 Volkswagen Jetta has more head, knee and shoulder room than the previous generation.
The 2022 Volkswagen Jetta is also even more sophisticated than before. Standard features include a large number of sought-after features, such as heated front seats, air conditioning, LED front and rear headlights, and a now standard Digital Cockpit instrument cluster to name a few. There are also a host of new optional technologies like the BeatsAudio system, interior ambient lighting, digital cockpit and ventilated front seats.
